Herford by the Water – the Werre Picnic!

On 3rd August H2O and RioNegro warmly invite you to the Werre Picnic – a relaxed summer festival right on the banks of the Werre. From 12 PM to 6 PM at the Quentinufer, next to the Kiewiese, you can look forward to a vibrant day filled with live music, a laid-back atmosphere, and a variety of activities for the whole family.

Delicious food and drinks will be available: enjoy grilled specialties, fresh cakes, creamy soft ice cream, and refreshing soft drinks. If you're feeling active, get up close to the Werre by paddling or stand-up paddleboarding. A wide range of games and activities will keep everyone moving – especially the younger guests.

Relaxed picnic moments are guaranteed – whether on your own picnic blanket, one borrowed on the spot, or at rented beer garden-style benches and tables.

A day to linger, explore, and enjoy – right in the heart of Herford, and yet so close to the water. Admission is free.
